Apple Orchard Mini Pie Workshop - 9/6

Celebrate the cozy flavors of fall with an afternoon of pie-making at Vintage Kitchen!

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn how to make an all-butter pie crust from scratch before creating four different mini apple pies to take home and bake fresh in your own oven. Each pie highlights a classic fall flavor and teaches a different decorating technique, making this class perfect for beginners and seasoned home bakers alike.

During class, you'll create:

  • 🧈 Brown Butter Streusel Apple Pie

  • 🍮 Salted Caramel Apple Pie

While you bake at home, we'll have freshly baked samples ready for you to enjoy during class, along with warm apple cider and plenty of pie-making tips. You'll learn everything from choosing the best baking apples and creating flaky pie crust to decorative finishes, freezing, and baking your pies to golden perfection.

Have you always wanted to learn the art of sourdough but weren't sure where to start? Join us for an evening of hands-on baking as Joelle from Smalltown Sourdough guides you through the fundamentals of creating beautiful artisan bread at home.

Designed specifically for beginners, this class will walk you through every step of the sourdough process, from mixing and developing dough to shaping, scoring, and understanding fermentation. You'll gain the knowledge and confidence to continue baking long after class ends.

During class, you'll:

  • Mix a fresh batch of sourdough dough from scratch

  • Practice stretch-and-fold techniques

  • Learn proper shaping and scoring

  • Understand fermentation and baking fundamentals

  • Discover how to care for and feed your sourdough starter
